When I drop a node into another node, things are fine. But when I drop it before or after the target node, TargetDropItem in RadTreeViewDragEndedEventArgs is null. This has to be a bug, right?

    Clarification:

The problem only occurs in the PreviewDragEnded event. In the DragEnded event, things are fine and TargetDropItem is set correctly.

    Hello Henrik,

We tested the issue and  the PreviewDragEnded event  always returns null for the TargetDropItem when the item is dropped before or after the target node.  We apologize for the inconvenience. This will be fixed with the next release- Q1 which is planned around the end of February. I updated your Telerik points.

    Best wishes,

    Hi Boyan,

I'm using Q1 release, and this problem still happens :(
Is this going to be fixed in the near future?

    Best Regards,
    Ivo

    Hello Ivo,

A total refactoring of  Drag and Drop for  RadTreeView was scheduled for Q2 and this is the reason for the delay. The new drag and drop will be ready for Q2 as supposed and this bug should not be present then.

We deeply apologize for the caused inconvenience and we hope that this timeframe is acceptable for you.

    Greetings,
    Boyan
