Synchronizing tags ?

Hi,

We'd like to syncronize TeamPulse tags to a string field in TFS, we tried to add the following line in the syn XML file : 
 <FieldMapping TeamPulseFieldName="Tags" TeamPulseFieldType="string" DestinationFieldName="AntVoice.BugType" DestinationFieldDisplayName="Bug Type" DestinationFieldType="string" /> but when the XML is validated, it says that Tags is not a valid field for bugs. 

Is this possible to sync Tags ?

We want to use them to sync a "Bug type" (we have for exemple Production bugs, dev bugs, enhancements...), alternatively, is this possible in team pulse to "create" a new field from the project configuration as this is possible on TFS ? Some field in TeamPulse are usless for us, but this one is important, it would be great if we could adapt teamPulse Fields for each company needs !

Hello Rodolphe,

Unfortunately it is not currently possible to sync tags between TeamPulse and TFS. It is also not currently possible to create custom fields within TeamPulse. I have added feedback votes for you for both of these feature requests.

As a suggestion, would it be possible to use Areas to help with your specific issue? This would obviously depend on your current use of areas, but these can sometimes be used to categorize items in a manner similar to what you describe.
