I know that this question has been asked before but I dont think it has been direct as other questions have related to swf in playing videos from youtube etc.
So is there a way to play swf files in the media player?

RadMediaPlayer is a wrapper around Microsoft's MediaElement component. The MediaElement does not support swf format and that is why our media player does not support it. You can take a look at the supported formats by MediaElement here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc189080(VS.95).aspx .
