Hi,

Is there support for the SQL BLOB data type in Open Access ???

It doesn't seem to be listed in the list of SQL data types , see the image bellow.

Hi Seabus,

What are you trying to store in the BLOB?

You can use either the Image type or the (n)varchar(max) type for storing binary / textual information.

Hi Sebastian,

OK, sorry I also forgot to ask you what backend you are using, but anyway if you found it... nevermind.
The image type will be mapped to a byte[] (byte array) in the persistent class.

Please mark the thread as answered/resolved if your question was answered. Other visitors of the forums will find their answers easier then.
Thanks.

Hi Sebastian,

The “image” sql type is populated in the SQL Types combo box from the screenshot which you provided to us.
