I've been using Status Bar Style set to BlackTranslucent and it has worked fine (text was white) until Icenium update this afternoon. I've rebuilt it several times and deployed with iTunes (I'm using ad hoc provision) but text always stays black. It did work this morning... I've also tried addingstatusBarStyle: "black-translucent" when initialising application, but it didn't help.

I'm running latest iOS7 on iPhone 5.

Hi Marius,

This change comes straight from iOS 7 and the latest version of Xcode as explained in our release notes. As you might know, in iOS 7 the BlackTranslucent  and BlackOpaque status bar styles have been deprecated, and the default status bar style has been modified. This affects all apps when built for iOS 7.

The good news is that there is already a custom plugin that will let you control this behavior to some extent. You can get it from here.

Hello Христо,

I've attached the status bar plugin for your convenience and it would fix the web view overlay out of the box without any further changes. You just need to import it to your project, see Import Custom Plugins.
If you want to make modification via the plugin API, please refer to the plugin documentation.
