When adding filters to the header row, the items inside the filter window are not ordered - is there a way to do this?

In your example, https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/spreadsheet/sorting-filtering, you can see this is the case.

Thanks!

Marc

Hello Marc,

Unfortunately, the desired functionality is not supported out of the box as it depends on the items order in the column.

I can suggest submitting a feature request in our UserVoice portal and based on its popularity among the community it may be implemented in a future release:

Hi!

Unfortunately its not even the order of the items in the column. Even in the example (https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/spreadsheet/sorting-filtering) the items in the filter are ordered almost at random.

Hello Marc,

Indeed, I noticed that the first item is not placed as expected, but most of the items after it are set correctly.

I logged in issue in our GitHub repository and forwarded it to our developers for further investigation, as the order seems random:

https://github.com/telerik/kendo-ui-core/issues/2594

Additionally, I updated your Telerik points for bringing this to our attention.

Stefan

Hi Stefan!

Ah that's great - this isn't a huge issue for us, we will tell our users that there is an open issue for it, and this will make them very happy!

Thanks again,

Marc
