Unless I'm doing something wrong or missing something, it doesn't seem as though your SPRadGrid web part works with SQL views. I see any of the tables but not views. We almost never expose a table but almost always use views to get the data we need, especially when working with SQL.
Plans to include views or maybe I'm really missing something here.

Hi Clint,

You are correct - SPRadGrid does not support binding to SQL Views. We will be adding this feature on our to-do list.

Hello!
Like Clint, we don't expose actual tables, preferring instead to expose Views for security, modeling, and other reasons. My tests thus far have worked out well, but all have been against tables. If you have SQL View support coming soon, we could use the tool. Otherwise, we're out of luck.
So... are any updates on the way?
Thanks!

Hello Clint,
Unfortunately, our developmen team gave priority to other features in the SPRadGrid control and it still does not support binding to Sql views. It will be no earlier than the Q1 2012 release that this improvement should be expected.

Thanks for the response, Tsvetoslav. Please convey to the development team that there are definitely many of us that would like to see view support as soon as possible. It will help sell the product set.
Thanks!

Hi Clint,
Unfortunately, our management has not set aside any development resources on that feature. Please, log that feature to our new feedback portal so that other customers may vote on that:
