The Android splashscreen stopped working when I changed my project's Cordova to version 3.0.0. If I change the cordova version back to 2.7.0, the splashscreen works again.

Hi Joey,

All of our Icenium samples have been upgraded from Cordova 2.7 to Cordova 3.0 when we released and the splashscreen is working properly on them. You can clone a sample app and compare the differences with your app. Maybe you're calling navigator.splashscreen.hide(); on deviceready event and if your app loads quickly and you're testing on a high end Android device, you just don't see it?

If it's not the above and you can't identify the problem, share your project name and we would take a look.

Steve

No, we're not calling navigator.splashscreen.hide().
I'm testing on a Nexus 7. With Cordova 3.0, we get a black screen during startup. The same project with no changes built for Cordova 2.7 shows the splashscreen fine.
Our project name is ID Card.

Hello Joey,

Thanks for the involvement. We identified the culprit from your project and it is a bug in Icenium when building in Release mode. We would hotfix the problem shortly (possibly today).

Please excuse us for the temporary inconvenience. Your Telerik points have been updated as a token of gratitude for bringing this problem to our attention.

Steve
