I see no way to change the skin of a button using the Telerik Style builder.  I have skinned everything else in my application fine.  How do I create a custom skin for the asp:buttons?

Hello Mike,

You can skin default asp:buttons with RadFormDecorator
Creating custom skins for RadFormDecorator is also supported in the Visual Style Builder.
Let us know if you have any further questions when you start creating your custom skin.

Ivo,

I've already skinned every component in the style builder just fine.  There is no button shown in the style builder for formdecorator to style/skin.  There are only headers, checkboxes, radio buttons, and text boxes.  No button.  Are the styles from any of those applied to the button?  If so, which?

Hi Mike,

Please, excuse us for the misleading information. The requested button skinning is still not offered by the StyleBuilder. The feature is logged in our ToDo list and we will try to implement it for the next official release of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX.

The headers, checkboxes, radio buttons, and text boxes styles do not apply to the buttons.

Currently, you can try to style the buttons yourself by creating your own custom skin. You can find a list of the classes used by the embedded Telerik RadFormDecorator skin in this article: RadFormDecorator's CSS classes. For your convenience I have attached the buttonsprites image that you can modify in Photoshop.

If you need further help, please send a screenshot of the desired button appearance along with the used colors and we will try to prepare a custom skin.

All the best,
