We are using the 2008 Q3 version of the AJAX controls. We have an editor on a page that is hidden when the page loads. We are using an ajax request to make it appear. It renders correctly and looks good the first time. However, if another ajax request makes the editor hidden and then we perform an postback, the next AJAX request to display the editor makes it render as a messed up unordered list with bullets down the screen. Needless to say, it can't be used at all. Is there a reason this is happening and a way to fix it? It almost appears that it outputs the necessary CSS and scripts the first time and then from that point on it doesn't think it needs to.

Thanks,
Adam

Hi Adam,

This problem should be fixed in Q2 2009 and my recommendation is to test the latest version.

In Q3 2008 you can fix the problem by registering manually the RadEditor skin using the information provided in this KB article: Registering an external skin of RadEditor.
