Hello,

I have a little problem with your RadCoverFlow. My product is working with touchscreens, expect the RadCoverFlow. I have attached a little example with a minimum of code.

So first you can test it with your mouse, you can access all of the Buttons and get the Message that it works.
If you try the same with your touchscreen you can move the covers, but you can't fire the click event by touching it.

What do I wrong?
How can I get this to work?

I haven't been able to find anything in the forums or support that alludes to this, so hopefully I'm not being blind in my searching.

I'm also not entirely sure this is possible from what I have seen of the documentation, but, is it possible to have different colors for the coverflow frames etc? I could manually change all the color variables in the template from their current shades of blue, but this seems to be a very manual and overly intensive task to do and to get right. I'm wanting to end up with a green version, but I figure at the same time I could create a red/gold/etc set of versions.

TL;DR;

Is there functionality, or a plugin, that I can use to change the color of coverflow to some other color easily?

Thanks

I used demo http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#CoverFlow/DataBinding in my project and working fine, but we have a mouse wheel method for our projects scrollbar works fine, but  that move my images when i got focus on it. How can I switch off all mouse wheel and mouse move activities for my RadCoverFlow control?

Hello,
I'm working on implementing the CoverFlow and having some odd behavior in design mode. When in design mode and running the page my custom controls appear where they should but an outline of the CoverflowItem and grid appear in the upper left corner of the design window in design mode.  Can I use any controls inside it or just certain types?

Here is the structure of one Item I'm having problems with:
<telerik:RadCoverFlowItem Width="600" Height="450" Background="Gray" >
 <StackPanel >
 <Grid >
 <Grid.ColumnDefinitions>
 <ColumnDefinition Width="30"></ColumnDefinition>
 <ColumnDefinition Width="30"></ColumnDefinition>
 <ColumnDefinition Width="30"></ColumnDefinition>
 <ColumnDefinition Width="30"></ColumnDefinition>
<ColumnDefinition Width="30"></ColumnDefinition>

 <MyCustomControl Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="1"></MyCustomControl>
 <MyCustomControl Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="2"></MyCustomControl>

Is there any way to disable the swipe scrolling with the coverflow control?  We have found on touchscreens that the swipe scrolling seems to be inconsistent, and does not work nicely.  It works better when it is done using a mouse.
Is there any way we can stop it using swipe gestures on a touch enabled screen?

Hi, I'm currently trying to implement cover flow in a sitefinity web app for sitefinity 4.1 and the files Telerik.Windows.Controls.dll and Telerik.Windows.Controls.Navigation.dll and the 4.1 sitefinity installation dosen't have these files. Is the RadCoverFlow control only part of the newer SDK's?

Hi

I have uploaded images using the RadUpload control to the usersupload folder as described in the telerik documentation. I now have a requirement to read those image files in a RadCoverFlow control and I wondered what might be the best approach in this scenario.

Following some consideration I presume I will need to create a webservice which returns a collection of these images and then bind it to the controls itemssource? Is this a good approach in your opinion and if so how might I iterate over the directory to retrieve those images?

Thanks

Michael

Hi,

I have a CoverFlow bound to an ObservableCollection. The UI needs to support an operator changing the order of items (Photos) in the coverflow. I have added left and right arrow buttons to each item of the coverflow to support this operation.
 I have also added an OrderNbr property to the class that the control is bound to. The issue that I have is that to make the CoverFLow use the modified ordering I need to completely rebuild the ObservableCollection in the changed order and rebind it to the Coverflow. The visual effect is poor and the operation takes too long to complete.
I have also tried removing the RadCoverFlowItem and inserting at the new point but this raises an exception due the collection being read only.

How can I change the order of items in the RadCoverFlow.

regards
Barry
