I was wondering if silverlight will be fully supported on the phone. If so why is there new controls
specificially to the phone, Is there plans in telerik to make a scheduler control for the windows 7 phone?

Hello Torben,
The silverlight runtime for the Phone right now is something in the middle between SL3 and SL4. It will probably continue to keep the same rate of grow.
The new controls are specific to the phone mainly because the requirements for them are very different compared to the one on the desktop. The interaction, design and performance requirements are totaly different.
A simple scheduler - calendar control is with high priority in our roadmap, but we still can not bind to specific dates just yet.
