I am creating a shaped form as a DialogResult:
In my frmShapedForm.designer.vb, I am specifying:
to center the form atop the parent (opener) form but it is not working, when i change the form to inherit from Windows.Forms.Form, everything works as expected.
Dim Result As DialogResult = frmShapedForm.ShowDialog(Me) |
In my frmShapedForm.designer.vb, I am specifying:
Me.StartPosition = FormStartPosition.CenterParent |
to center the form atop the parent (opener) form but it is not working, when i change the form to inherit from Windows.Forms.Form, everything works as expected.

Has this problem been resolved? I am using the controls referenced in this thread, but I am still having problems setting the startposition so the for displays correctly in the center of the parent.
Thanks

Hi Chris,
Unfortunately, we were not able to fix this bug in Q1 SP1. The bug was reported about a week before we released the service pack and time did not permit us to fix it. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused. We will try to fix it for our next service pack later this month. Let us know if this is a showstopper for you and I will check whether we will be able to escalate its importance.
Best wishes,
Jack

I am using SP2 of the rad controls and have the same issue. Is it still a bug or an error on my part?
Thanks,
