set Calander control to show month and years only

I ned to make the calendar show only months for picking it and years and not days.  Then I am wondering If I can show then all in the header of the calander controls instead of indididual box type format so it would look like this.

2012     JAN    FEB     MAR     APR     MAY      JUN     JUL     AUG      SEP   OCT   NOV     DEC   2013

Instead of this
JAN  FEB  MAR
APR  MAY  JUN
JUL  AUG   SEp
OCT NOV   DEC

Thank you for contacting us.

About your first requirement:
The RadCalendar cannot be customize to show only months or years for picking. Such functionality could be accomplish with the RadMonthYearPicker. Attached you may find a sample project, where the RadMonthYearPicker is used to display only the months or only the years (by default it shows the months and the years). 

Your second requirement is also not available out of the box. Nonetheless, one possible approach using RadButtons setting the month to the RadMonthYearPicker is shown in the attached project.
