My app says it's available in 4 languages in the app store. Apple says that's coming from the Metadata sent in with the app. How do I change that so only English shows up as an option?

Hello Rob,

Change your Cordova target version of your application to be 2.4.0 and rebuild/republish your app to the store and it would only be English.

All the best,

Apparently that's not the case. As you can see in the attachment, I changed the target to 2.4.0 and it still shows 4 languages. Please advise.

Hello Andy,

Indeed you are correct, this must have regressed in the latest versions (most likely after the XCode 5/iOS 7 upgrade). I've logged this in our bug tracking system and it would be fixed for subsequent version of Icenium.

Sorry for the temporary inconvenience.

Regards,
Steve

Any news on this one? I have this problem using cordova 3.2.0. In my ipa build I'm seeing a de.lproj folder that I cannot get rid off. Inside I'm seeing translation that seems to come from video/audio recoding: "recorded time in minutes and seconds_toggle audio recording\Videos title_timed recording".

I tried deactivating plugins and also to add locales folder at the root of appbuilder project like mentioned on the link below
but the de.lproj folder is still showing. Any idea?

Hi Kevin,

These localizations come by default with Cordova template and differ for each version as you can see at their repository.
The strings in those files are required for audio recording so this should not bother you.
However you can make an experiment by deleting the redundant folders from your .ipa package and try to publish it manually.
