Hello All,

I have a very strange issue that unfortunately I cannot duplicate with a small sample application.  Figured I'd just throw it out there to see if anyone had something similiar.

We are using the latest version Q3 2010.

We add RadPane items to the RadPaneGroup dynamically using Code.

Steps:
  • If I have say 5 panes visible, select any pane other than the last one
  • Make another application active, for example Outlook, or Internet Explorer
  • Go back to our new application
  • You can see the selected pane becomes the last one

Has anyone ran into something similiar?

Thanks,

Hi Chris,

I too experience something similar, and was also unable to reproduce it in a sample app.

My experience is slightly different.

I have a number of RadDocumentPanes visible, if a click the first pane, and make another application active, then return to my application, the selected pane moves from the first pane, and selects the previously selected pane.

This only happens when the clicked pane is the first one, all the other panes are selected properly.

I have found, if I click the first pane twice, the issue doesn't occur.

So , I select the first pane, click it again (the pane header), and make another app. active, come back to it and the correct pane is selected still.

I haven't been come across a solution, and haven't reported it as I couldn't reproduce it!

Hi Adam,

I tried selecting the pane twice as you mentioned and I don't get the pane switching like I did before.  I guess we have the exact issue, just too bad we can't reproduce it with a sample app.  Ours is just too integrated with other systems to send to telerik.

If you find a workaround and / or can reproduce it, please let me know by replying to the thread.

Thanks Again,
Chris

Hello Chris,

We are aware of this problem with RadDocking control. The problem you experienced is similar to the following one - http://www.telerik.com/support/pits.aspx#/public/wpf/3647. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
