select an item on initial load

I need to select a panel bar on initial load. I do have a currently loaded item in JS variable.

How do I select an item on panel bar?

You can use the built-in method select() in order to select an item in the PanelBar. If you want to read more about the Kendo UI PanelBar methods please follow this link:
