Hi

I want to optimize search engine visibility of my carefully-optimized pages...

Can anyone confirm whether Google et al can see text in panels which are not visible
on page load? Does it depend on whether there is an open close link within the page?

Likewise can Google follow a link that opens a window, so that the window content can be indexed?

Thanks

Clive

This is an old thread but I would like to revive the question since it was not answered.

I am specifically interested in RadMenu using an ItemTemplate.  Can search engines process and follow links in the ItemTemplate?  (It appears it can from the HTML output on this)

Also the original question, if you want to consolidate information on a webpage by using the RadPanelBar with expandable and collapsable items, is the search engine able to index the hidden info?  (I am assuming yes, just like drop down menus)

Thanks.

Hi Coty,

Yes, search engines can process and follow links in the ItemTemplate of RadMenu. Same applies to RadPanelBar and its expandable items. Also, search engines will follow links by default. If a link has the
rel="nofollow" attribute, then it will not be followed.

Thank You for the response.  I would mark as answer but I am not the OP.
