Screen builder, adding list view from another datatype, pick a field popup never comes back

I'm trying to create an app in the Screen Builder (which seems like a beautiful tool!)  My app has Decks and Cards, on the Deck details page, I want to show a list of cards in the deck.  I add the datalist to the details screen, hook up Data Binding and it says:

List item options
Related type fields:
Related type fields is required.
pick a field

I click pick a field, a popup appears, seeming to be looking up the field, but the popup never displays a value.  So I can't add the datalist.  
Found an error in the javascript console:  
config-sb.js:3 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'name' of undefined(…)(anonymous function) @ config-sb.js:3

Any help would be appreciated.

My mistake.  The link between the objects was unresolved in the database, therefore, errors and pain.  Thanks.
