I am having two issues with my timelineView when I set the DayStartTime and DayEndTime properties.
When I change the DayStartTime property to "4:00:00", the property ONLY changes the first day's start time. All of the remaining 6 days still begin at 12 midnight. Likewise, the DayEndTime property only affects the last day's end time. Is this the desired behavior?
In a related issue, it seems like the width of the first day's group header rectangle is too small by the sum of DayStartTime and DayEndTime. All of the other group headers are formatted correctly. I've included a screenshot below to help explain the issue. This seems like it cannot be anything but a bug, although I'm unsure if this forum is the right place to post about bugs.

Hi Eric,
The first issue, which prevents the inner days in timeline view from having DayStart/EndTime is known and unfortunately will not be changed soon (not sooner than Q1 2011, but it is still tentative).
The second issus is definitely a bug and we will do our best to provide a fix in the Q3 2011 release, that is scheduled for the mid November.
I updated your points.
Best wishes,

Thanks for the reply. Guess I'll have to make do without start and end times.

Hello Craig,
At the moment TimelineView displays the whole days, you can set DayStart/EndTime only to the first/last day.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi!
Is this still the case?
I use both DayView and TimelineView. In TimeLineView I display 7 days, but I want each day to span between 7 AM to 5 PM.
The reason is that I want the appointments to get bigger. Now an appointment of one hour is very small.
Regards,
Håkan

Hello Håkan,
Currently TimelineViewDefinition is not changed, however, we understand that reasons for this requirement and we are definitely considering it for some of the upcoming releases.
