hi there...

I can't get the scheduler to group by two resources...

I can group by the "room" resourse wich is used in the online samples, but i can't get another resourse added.

the two different resources could be "buildings" and "rooms"... where rooms are placed in buildings... this meaning that all rooms placed in building A should be arranged (grouped) by that

a little help would be nice.....

Hello Morten,

RadScheduler supports grouping by only one Resource. Additionally, one can group by a Resource and by Date by setting the GroupBy property to "Date,[ResourceName]".

However, 'grouping by more than one Resource' similar functionality can be implemented.

Please see this Live Demo. It shows the Appointments for the User which is selected in the DropDown. If you group the Scheduler by a Resource, let say by Room, you will have grouping by Room and User. Similarly, this can be done for more Resources achieving an effect close to the desired.

There has been any improvement on this or it's still not supported?

Hi Robbie,

This functionality is still not supported out-of-the-box. We will consider it for future versions of RadScheduler.

Hi there

Has there been any movement on this issue?

Actually, our issue is that we'd like to group by Date and a resource field whilst using Web Service binding.

We get the following error:

Date grouped WeekView is not supported when using Web Service binding

Many thanks

Hello,

I am afraid that there is no updates on this issue yet. As soon as there are some updates regarding this functionality we will add it to current release history section.
