i have the same problem. After downloading an building in VS2010 pages are not show.

Error 1:  
Cannot create an instance of "ViewModel". E:\TEMP\SalesDashboard\MainPage.xaml 463 9

Error 2 in MainPage.xaml:

System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException

Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

Hi,
The Sales Manager Dashboard demo application was initially developed in Silverlight and later directly ported to WPF and there may be some inconsistencies or issues.
If you would like to use the design-time features you can download the Silverlight version and use Blend or Visual Studio's designer mode.
