RTE breaks down intermittently

Hi,

We have a Telerik Rich Text Editor hosted in our server. It was working for a couple of years fine. All of a sudden, the site breaks down and works only after an iisreset. The version of the dll files we are using is 2012.2.912.35. Please let me know which version of dll will work fine to resolve the issue ASAP.

From the provided description I cannot understand how this is related to the RadEditor control. The control is not related directly to the IIS and this does not lead me to any possible reasons for the described behavior.

If the configuration of the RadEditor control has not been changed or the version is not upgraded you should track any possible changes that could lead to the described problem.

If you are certain that the RadEditor control is related, please provide more details (e.g. How it appears broken? How it is related to the IIS reset? What changes has been done regarding the control?)

In case you desire to upgrade the used Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX suite, I recommend using the latest available one.

We have a webpage and it contains a Telerik Rich Text Editor Control only. At times, the page goes blank when the site is run which means no content or RTE is shown on load of the page. After the internet services are restarted, the page is back online. I'm not sure of the connectivity between IIS and control as well.

Please let me know if using the latest version of Telerik dll resolves this issue.

I am unable to provide a firm answer if this issue is related to the RadEditor control. 

• Is this reproducible with another control?
• Is the page used with another controls or this page contains only a RadEditor?
• Can this problem be isolated in a simple project?
• What are the exact steps that should be followed, so that I can reproduce this on my end?

Without any further details on this problem, I am unable to investigate this and find the reason for this problem. 

Also I am not aware how the RadEditor control could cause a break down of a page, so that it would need an IIS reset. As this issue is experienced only on your end, I would need more details about this, so that I could verify that this is a problem related to the Editor control.
