Hi,
I'm using your rotator to fade between images (one image on view at a time), however it doesn't always load the whole image and sometimes fails to load the image at all (I just get the alt text)! I thought this might be to do with the size of the images being loaded (aprox 250kb .png files) so i created two more test pages with smaller .jpg images (page 1 aprox 40kb per image page 2 aprox 15kb per image) But the same thing still happens.
I have the Rotator type set to SlideShow,
Frame Delay set to 7000
And Scroll Duration set to 0
I am using an xml file as a datasource (There are six images to rotate)
The test pages I created can be viewed at:
http://www.receptionbureau.co.uk/callAnswering.aspx - High quality .png images (aprox 250kb)
http://www.receptionbureau.co.uk/callAnswering1.aspx - Medium quality images (aprox 40kb)
http://www.receptionbureau.co.uk/callAnswering2.aspx - Low quality images (aprox 15kb)
Additionally in Firefox version 1.5.0.12 it loads the first image, then before the image has been fully displayed the next image starts loading over the top of the previous image, this continues until all images are loaded (looks really bad!). Google Chrome and Safari loads the images but does not rotate them.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, as this needs to function correctly in the following browsers
Fire Fox v1.5 - v3
IE v6 - v8
Safari v3
Google Chrome
Kind regards,
Darren
