Does Telerik have any examples of the use of SignalR and a Rotator?.  I'd be interested establishing a Master-to-Child relationship between Rotators.  Where a 'start' command on the master rotator would broadcast a move to a slide.

Cheers

Hello Dave,

Currently there are no such examples. Nevertheless, please describe the functionality you want to achieve in greater details so that I can suggest a solution if there is one. How are the RadRotator controls connected? When should the first rotator trigger the start command you mentioned? What actions should the rotator, to which it is being broadcasted, perform?

Hi Slav

I would suggest creating an example  application that is representative of real-time applications in which would have periodically "push," or broadcast, notifications from the server to all connected clients.    The demonstration of a pub/sub using single-recipient, grouped, or broadcast which might be in the form of action to rotator a slide, where each respective client(s) rotator is instructed to expose the same content slide in Real Time(RT).   The single-recipient or group could subscribe to any of several content streams and have an action of 'freeze' the motion of the content rotator slide allowing viewing of the content.   This action would be become aware to Host publisher.    The Host publisher could send a message to any of the participates.   Something like "thanks for watching"    Later, when the 'freeze' action is released the client's rotator would 'catch-up' to RT condition.

Cheers

Hi Dave,

Thank you for the provided information.

There is not an example I can provide that matches these requirements. Nevertheless, I will log this request and I will consider creating such an example. In case I make one, you will be notified in this forum thread.
