RichTextBox problems in safari

Running Safari Version 5.0.3 (6533.19.4)
on osx 10.6.5
Silverlight plugin version: Version 4.0 (4.0.51204.0)
When I look at the demo on the Telerik site for RadRichTextBox and try to type anything in the text box, the browser window goes blank.  I tried to create my own silverlight app with the richtextbox and had the same problem.  Could this be a compatibility issue?  just a bug?  Is there a work around?

Hi JJ,

There is a known compatibility issue with Mac OS, which should be fixed in the next internal build.

The reason lies within the SpellChecker, so if you disable it, you should be able to workaround the problem.

Disabling the spell check did stop that bug, however, I find that the box still has a variety o issues:
Pressing enter for a new line causes very strange formatting.
Sometimes I can not move the cursor or type anything after hitting enter.

I have attached two screenshots of what I see when I hit enter at the end of a line.  The first is before I hit enter.

We are doing our best to get our controls to work on Mac OS just as we try to fix all bugs that are brought to our knowledge. However, I cannot provide you with a specific timeline of when we will manage to accomplish that, as the nature of the problem is a bit more tricky.

i just ran across the exact same problems.  Does anyone know if the problems are Safari/Mac related only.  ie does the problem exist with other browsers on the Mac?

Unfortunately these issues are observed in all major browsers on Mac - Safari, Chrome and Mozilla. We will do our best to fix the problems for the forthcoming Q1 2011 release.

I just tried out the Q1 2011 Beta demos on my Mac Safari, and the entire screen goes white after the control loads. This is a really important issue for us, is there an ETA on when this will be fixed besides "Q1"?

The compatibility issues with Mac OS X we are aware of are already fixed, and the changes will be visible to you in the next official release - Q1 2011, expected around the second half of March.
