We currently installed version 5.8.8 of Radeditor for Sharepoint 2007.
We have a large issue with reusable content with in sharepoint.
We have the feature 'html fields radeditor' activated, but it's not working as expected anymore.

Every html we try to put in the 'reusable content'-list is shown as text.
When we use the preview within this list(content preview), html is also shown as text.

Hi Jonas,

In order to help you further I will need the following information:

1. Confirm  that you are using RadEditor for MOSS in WCM scenario by enabling the feature and not by replacing  PublishingWebControls:RichHtmlField with telerik:RadHtmlField in SharePoint Designer.
2. Provide me with the web.config file of your MOSS site and the configuration files of RadEditor for MOSS (ConfigFile.xml, ToolsFile.xml and MOSSEditorTools.js), which are located in the /Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/web server extensions/wpresources/RadEditorSharePoint/5.x.x.0__1f131a624888eeed/Resources/ folder.

Hi Jonas,

Send the files at clientservice@telerik.com. Just mention the forum thread ID, which is 480020.

Hi Jonas,

I checked the provided files and the look OK. Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce the issue on our test server. Here is what I suggest you to do:

1. First confirm that the columns in the Reusable Content list settings look like in the attached screen shot.
2. Confirm that the reusable content is working if you disable the RadEditor for MOSS features.
3. It will be great if you can create a small video (screen cast) where I can actually see the problem. I personally use jing for this purpose. It's free version allows you to make 5 minute long screen casts and upload them on a remote sever. So you can provide me with URL for the video, without attaching it to this thread.

1. Columns are the same as on the attached screenshot.
2. I disabled the 'radcontrol' features for MOSS. It seems that 'reusable content' isn't working.

Hello Jonas,

I reviewed your video and I think that the problem is in the way that the content is set in the clipboard. Review the following video: http://screencast.com/t/Tjc9uGq9Qt. I think that you will find it helpful.

In your case, you need to paste the content in Html editing mode or use the PasteHtml tool. You can find information on how to add/remove tools from the editor's toolbar in the following online help article: http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/moss-removing-tools-from-toolbar.html

We watched the video you sended about the use of 'reusable content' and it seems we didn't use the good method to implent HTML.
With the features of radcontrol deactived, reusable content works like it should.

We tried to activate the features again and tested 'reusable content' but it seems that we don't have the same toolbar for 'reusable content'.
The radeditor we're using in our site, has more buttons(pasteashtml,...). The toolbar for reusable content is totally different.
I took two screenshots of the toolbars. The first is the toolbar of radeditor, the second is the toolbar of reusable content.
Is there something we should change in the toolsfile ?? Can we add buttons to the toolbar of reusable content ??
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Jonas,

What you need to do is deactivate the "Use an accessible UI in RadEditor" feature.

Also review the following three online help aritcles:
1. Using RadEditor in List Items - this is the reusable content list scenario.
2. Using RadEditor in Web Content Management scenario - this is the scenario where you are using the reusable content.
3. Using the RadEditor WebPart - in this scenario you can also use reusable content, but only as a template. The auto update functionality will not work.

Regarding the configuration in WCM and WebPart scenarios you should edit the ConfigFile.xml and ToolsFile.xml  files and in list scenario you should edit the ListConfigFile.xml and ListToolsFile.xml files.
