We created a 'Reusable Content' item whose automatic update was set to yes. Using the Lite version, I edited a page, adding the 'Reusable Content'. I was surprised when I was able to edit it. Additionally, I changed the item in the 'reusable content' library and it did not update the page the I had just been able to edit.
This isn't suppose to work like this is it?

Hi,
Automatic update of reusable content is currently not possible with RadEditor in MOSS. We are working on this issue, but unfortunately I cannot give you specific information about when a fix will be available.

I have fixed the RadEditor in MOSS so that the Reusable Content is now working. Please let me know if you would like to view the code that makes this possible.

We downloaded the Lite editor for moss because it promised to allow our client to use markup for Flash & other emebedded media where the MS editor doesn't.
That was great... but now we find that Reusable content does not work in the same way as the MS Editor...
Looking through the forum I see some discussion.. but as the posts have no year its hard to tell what the current situation is.
We have to decide what route to take for project asap.
Please can anyone tell me if / when the Telerik MOSS editor will be fixed to use Reusable content in exactly the same way as the MS one does... and will this apply to the Lite version and/or the full (costs money) version.?

Automatic update of reusable content is still not possible with the RadEditor for MOSS. The Reusable Content Picker dialog is available and you can insert in the editor content area, but the automatic update feature is not supported. I am sorry but we cannot give you an estimate of when or if this feature will be enabled in the Lite RadEditor for MOSS.
