Should the sample code at:

http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/page-layout-responsive-design-overview.html 

be specifying gridtype="Fixed" instead of gridtype="Fluid" ?

Hello,

After the most recent changes both types works in very similar way. In this case I would suggest using the "Fluid" type.

When would you recommend Fixed?

Hello,

We suggest using the fixed type in cases when you have explicit requirements to the size of the content you want to display (for example 200px).
