Request: A clear text on focus lost if selected item is null
i.e. when it is editable, and you type something into the combo box for it to search for, but what you have typed in has not brought up any response, can you clear the text when focus on the control is lost?

Actually not clearing the text when the focus is lost was intentional and this behavior cannot be currently changed.

In that case, is it possible to not show the water mark if text != null/empty-string?
As currently it will always show the water mark if the selected item is null, even if you have text in there, resulting in a text overlap (which looks rather horrid)
