Hi, I've now with Telerik report for a while.
I have found an issue that when I have placed a toolbar with postback and ajaxmanger handles it. reportviewer still picks the postback and refreashes, any ideas or suggestions?

Additionally, I have assign the footer textbox with value at code-behind when generate, but sometimes it only appears second time after it's refreashed

Hi James,

Currently Telerik Reporting will always be refresh on ajax request and this is a known issue that has been addressed and would be part of the Q3 SP2 release expected this week.
Also from the information you've provided on the second issue, it is not clear how and where do you assign the value for the textbox. Note that you cannot use databound items in page footer section and if you would like to set a value there, you can use the approach from this KB article: Using data source fields in Page Sections.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I have upgraded to Q3 SP2 and it still seems to be the issue that the reportviewer refreshes for ajax postback.
Any suggestions on how to stop it from refreshing?

Hello James,

I've just tested this once again locally and I no longer observe the ReportViewer refresh on ajax requests that are not meant to update it. Can you please verify that your ReportViewer is not placed in UpdatePanel with default UpdateMode="Always", which would mean that it would be updated on update of ANY update panel on the page?

Sincerely yours,
