I'm having trouble deploying a Reports Rest Service.  When I deploy it in my test environment, I am able to test the API by going to http://servername/ReportsRestService/api/reports and I get a json file listing the file formats...  When I deploy the same files to a client's server (same Host OS - Windows Server 2012 - IIS 8.5), the URI gives a 500 error with no description why.  Any ideas as to what could be going on?

Hello, Alexander,

I have tested to deploy Telerik Reporting Rest to Windows Server 2012 - IIS 8.5 and like your test environment, everything was working as expected - you could see the video I prepared for you. One idea that comes to my mind is to verify that IIS user and user group (IIS_IUSRS) has the right permissions or Application Pool Identity user has permissions.
You could also Enable Failed Request Tracing in IIS 8.5 so ithat would help us figure out what is the real issue.

Thank you for your cooperation and I am waiting on your feedback.

Regards,
Milko
