Hello,

Is support for the displaying of reports available in the MVC .Net Core 1.0 release yet?

Thanks you,

Scott

Hi Scott,

There are demo Nuget packages suitable for MVC6 RC1 projects, only with educational purpose.
Telerik Reporting preview Nuget packages with ASP.NET5 RC1

We will need to check the API changes, and to include features related to support of JSON config files and possibly the new Web - ClassLibrary (Nuget package) type of projects. Still reports will require .NET framework and a Windows machine in order to be processed and rendered.
Changes can be expected at earliest with R2 2013 in the middle of September, 2016.

Regards,
Stef

Thanks for the reply, Stef. To clarify, only bits for working with RC1 are available, none that allow for use with the RTM of 1.0?

Hi Scott,

The available Nuget packages are for educational purpose only, for MVC6 projects, and should not be used in production code. These packages rely on "Microsoft.AspNet.Mvc": "6.0.0-rc1-final". Updates can be expected at earliest in mid September.

Instead you can add a page with the HTML5 Javascript Viewer in the MVC6 or other web application, no assembly references needed - Requirements. Then you can host separately a Reporting REST service with enabled CORS to allow the communication with viewers.

Stef
