I can use the Telerik Report Designer application, but I was hoping to us the 'Report Server manager' in Chrome.  When I try to create a new report, it tells me that my current browser does not support ClickOnce, and that I need to install an extension or use the RD application.  I tried installing 3 different ClickOnce Chrome extensions (by Neta4, WindosRemix and Menarva) to no avail.  I am running Windows 10 Pro and the current version of Chrome. I got the same results using Edge and Firefox browsers.  The warning I get from report server is that I should try IE, but IE doesn't run on Win 10.

Does anyone have it running on Chrome, and if so, were any speacial tweaks involved in order to get it running?

Thanks,

Bill

Hi Bill,

The Report Server application uses ClickOnce to download the exe of the Standalone Report Designer, which is supported only in IE browsers.

You can also use Telerik Reporting of the corresponding version (versions are important due to the XML schema stored in TRDP|TRDX reports e.g. v4.1 in R3 2016 and v4.2 in R1 2017), which comes with the same Standalone Report Designer that can be connected to the Report Server by URL and server user's credentials.

Regards,
Stef
