    Hi everyone,

We got a 3 server Farm ( 2 x WFEs and 1 x Search/index server) and we've deployed RadEditor for SharePoint (full version) to it. The dlls and the wpresources folder are deployed to the 2 WFEs without fail (with stsadm solution deployment), but activating the Site feature "Use RadEditor to edit List Items" works on 1 WFE while not the other...

We've tried re-deploying the RadEditor solution again and again, done IISReset, de-activate and re-activate the feature, but nothing seems to work. We've also ensure that the configuration xml are the same on both WFEs..

Can anybody advise on how can I fix the issue?

    Thanks.

    Hi Ji Kai,

I think you are experiencing a known issue with the RadEditor for MOSS and multiple WFE servers.

If you are using version 5.x (full featured), then please upgrade to version 5.22 where this problem is fixed. You can get the latest version from the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX downloads page in the Client.Net website.

If you are using version 4.x (lite or full featured), then you need to make sure the RadEditorList.ascx file is in the \Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\CONTROLTEMPLATES\ folder on both WFEs. If it is present only on one of them, copy it to the other one and run IIS reset.

    Kind regards,
