Can you devise some way to re-order the entity properties?

Lets say I have 4 columns and 1 collection property...if i use the context menus to add another property, it ends up below the collection (I like my models sorted with the single properties first, then collections at the end)...or also even just so I can keep them sorting alphabetically (with collections at the bottom)

Hello Steve,

This is not possible at the moment, but please have in mind that this functionality is part of our TODO list for a very short period of time. That said, we are implementing functionality that will make sure that the properties are always sorted alphabetically but in a logical groups also - simple properties on top, collections on bottom. Expect this functionality in the next service pack release.

Best wishes,

I'm not seeing this in the current internal release, did it get dropped for other bug fixes?

It would also be nice for the entities to auto-size their width based on the text inside...I almost always have to make them wider due to reference property mappings

Hello Steve,

Yes you are correct, this feature did not make it for the latest release, for which we apologize. Actually the feature is part of a major project we are working on which consists of re-factoring the complete Visual DSL designer. We hope to be able to release the much more stable and improved  version by Q1 2011 where the mentioned feature should be available.

Again, we are sorry for any inconveniences this might have caused you.

Kind regards,
Zoran

I also want this.  However, you can do it if you hack the .rlinq file in XML editor mode.  Just reorder the properties in the XML.
