I'm having an issue with rendering a report in XLSX format. The rendered report opens up fine in Microsoft Excel, but when I try to open it up in Apple Numbers it doesn't display any data.
The report file is being generated using the RenderReport method and the returned RenderingResult DocumentBytes are then written to a file, with the Extension attribute used from the RenderingResult.
I've also noticed that if I open the file up in Excel, and then re-save it as XLSX, the file will then open up fine in Numbers, so that leads me to believe that it is just some issue with the way that the report is being generated by Telerik.Reporting.
Any ideas?

Telerik Reporting engine produces XLSX files based on the Design Considerations for Excel Rendering by using OpenXML libraries.
In case the content is downloaded from the web, test to change the security settings of Apple Numbers. Please check the error on an attempt to open the XLSX file with Apple Numbers and search Apple, Mac and github discussions for such logged issue with Numbers.
Let us know if the problem occurs with each report - with or without images, page headers or other features, and the error message. The code for generating the report (the report definition) will be helpful to perform local tests.

There are no errors displayed when the xlsx file is opened, there just isn't any data shown after the file is opened. I've only really tried it with a few different reports, but one of the ones I've tried is a very basic report with a header, table detail, footer, and just plain text for the data (no images) and it still does not display any data when opened in Apple Numbers.
The issue is logged in our system for further investigation and possible improvements.
For the time being, please use the found by you workaround to re-save the file in MS Excel.
Your Telerik points are updated to thank you for bringing the issue to our attention.

Were you able to replicate the issue?
Do you need any code / sample files from me?
Setting a test environment will take time. Based on your description we will investigate the changes MS Excel does on the file and how this may affect different applications working with XLSX files.
We will appreciate it if you open a support thread to send us a demo report, including test data; or if you can verify the issue is reproducible with any of the demo reports.

Yes it is reproducible with the demo reports from the link provided, if you download any of them as "Excel Worksheet" they do not display any data in Apple Numbers.
I will also open up a support thread so that I can be notified when the issue is resolved.
