Hi,

I found it's difficult to remove HTML element that are pasted from existing document.

I took a short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jw0ErtXSRNQ

The attached image shows another example.

Please let me know if there is a tip.

Hello Adam,

The next official release features the clean formatting tool, which will allow styles to be cleaned. Apart from that, header elements need to be changed to paragraphs via the formatting tool (backspace leaves the users in headers, just like in MS Word).

Hi Gyoshev ,

is this clean formatting tool available in the latest internal build "2014.1.624"? when yes, how can I activate this new feature in the editor?

thanks for any clues.

Cheers

Hi Zhongahai,

The CleanFormatting tool will be included in the Q2 2014 release, which is due in mid July. You can check it out in the Q2 2014 Beta, which is already available.

Hi Dimo,

thanks for your hints, I've downloaded the Q2 2014 beta version, functionally, it works as expected. But, the icon for "clear formatting" is not showing, I am not sure if this is a bug or am I missing something?

I am using the bootstrap integration with kendo ui ("Kendo UI Bootstrap"), like the sample shown here: http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/bootstrap/. Could you please check it out if this is really a bug?

thanks

Hi Zhonghai,

You are either using CSS files or theme images from an older Kendo UI version, or the browser is using cached versions of those.
