Hi!

I'm struggling a bit with recurring events again. This time, I'm trying to set up a monthly event to occur e.g. every first Wednesday. The event is rendered for some months, but not all. Also, the rendering does not seem to be consistent between views; e.g., the event might show up in Day View but not in Week View and so on.

The problems I reported earlier re. recurring events (which you fixed!) seemed to be related to a localized (Norwegian) setting, but this one also occurs in the online demos, e.g. the one at http://demos.kendoui.com/web/scheduler/index.html

Best regards,
  Gunnar

Hello Gunnar,

Thank you for drawing our attention to this issue. We was able to reproduce it locally and the fix will be available in the next internal build of Kendo UI.
As a gratitude for your involvement I updated your Telerik points.

I am having a similar issue. Where I might want to set an event to repeat yearly (or even every other year)

FREQ=YEARLY;INTERVAL=3

for instance the above rule, seems to actually render a recurring event every year, regardless of  the interval

In addition to this, on my test site, I am trying to add veterans day to the calendar (november 11th), I set this event to a combination of different kinds of rules

FREQ=YEARLY
FREQ=YEARLY;BYMONTH=11;

etc, it renders the first rule correct, when I change the month to the next month (december) I see that veterans day has magically moved from its normal spot to now rest on the last week of november. if I go back to november it shows it on the right day again, but moving forward will still move it to the first spot on the calendar (which usually seems to correspond to the last week of the previous month)

Attached are some screen caps of the results. I see no errors generated in firebug.

I withdraw my response.
the JSBIN sample i was working from was using a much more up to date version than I had (I was using the latest public available version). I have updated to the latest internal build, and all my weirdo recurring event bugs seem to be gone, as are my odd ball templating issues, so im happy about that guys :)
