Hi

Looking for some advice on how / where you save the recurrence rules, and the exceptions IE when you edit 'this occurrence'  rather than series.

Ideally I'd like these in a database, so I can search not only for appointments but clear slots also.

Another question

Do I have to use the built in Recurrence editor as not all the options are valid for my scenario?

Hello Andy,

Editing only this occurrence will eventually add an exception appointment record ( separate appointment record) in the data base and modify the master appointment recurrence rule. Please find more information about Working with Recurring Appointments help article.
