Hi,
When i sort gridview twice, for first time sorting it remains as usual , but for next time - if i select column out of my viewport - using scroll bar, after reloading, grid doesnt display that column in viewport.
Please check out with images.

Hello,
I am afraid I cannot notice the missing column on the screenshot. Would you please open a new support thread and attach a demo project illustrating the issue there?
You can take a look at this blog post for a reference on how to isolate an issue.

Hi Didie,
Thanks. Column does appear. There is no issue there. but i need to scroll horizontally to reach that column.since that column was in that area only. Means, after reloading, column remains highlighted but for the screen want, i need to scroll horizontally.
May be this would help, if not i shall try to create a sample as you suggested.
1. I have 20 columns.
2. first 10 columns are shown and others by horizontally scrolling.
3. I am sorting column no 15.
4. i have my own logic on sorting and i bind data to grid again.
5. after sorting twice, grid reloads and first 10 columns appear,
6. 15th column header is highlighted.
7 but I need to do horizontal scrolling to go to column 15------ this is the thing i dnt want. I want to preserve the screen and scrollbar i did earlier while selecting a column.

Hi Didie,
Thanks. Let me make it more clear. I hope this would help otherwise i shall try to create a sample as you suggested.
1. I have a grid of 20 columns.
2. first 10 columns are shown and others by scrolling horizontally.
3. i want to sort column no 15.
4. i scroll horizontally and sort column no 15.
5. i have my own logic for sorting and after sorting i bind grid again.
6. so, when grid is loaded(after sorting) i am able to see the screen of first 10 columns.
7 to reach the sorted column(Column no 15), i have to scroll horizontally---- I dnt want to scroll. I want the screen containing column no 15. , means the screen when i selected column to be sorted.

Hello Ishita,
I tried to reproduce the mentioned behavior, however I was unsuccessful.
Would you please open a new support thread and edit the attach project in a way that it is illustrating the issue there?

Hi,
Thanks for the response. i found the cause why it happened. I have my own logic on sorting and i am rebinding the whole grid. Is there any way to preserve value of horizontal scrollbar and set it once i rebind it to gridview ?!
