Hi,

I'm having trouble with the Rad Window and attached behaviours.

The issue is that we have a scroll viewer with an attached behavioru that helps with gesture scrolling (http://lighttouch.codeplex.com/). This behaviour works fine in a silverlight child window but the behaviour doesnt work when the control is in a child window.

(Ps I tried submitting a support ticket but I kept getting a server error.). I have a sample project if that helps

Hi Vincent,

RadWindow has not been tested to work with this specific third party library and using it in the context of RadWindow is not supported in the current version of the control. It is highly possible that this library is designed to work specifically with the default ChildWindow and because RadWindow and ChildWindow have some major differences there could be issues when using those attached properties.

If you have any specific issues when using the described library with RadWindow could you describe them in more details in order for us to see what could be causing them?

Hi Vladi,

I was able to submit the ticket and the issue was moved to PITS.  (Support ticket ID:670882, this has a sample project attached)

If possible could you explain to me what way the RadWindow differs to the Silverlight Child window as I would liek to continue using the Rad Window. I am guessing but I believe that the library cannot hook the behaviour on the scroll viewer control in the RadWindow but can in the Silverlight Child Window.

Issue is on PITS http://www.telerik.com/support/pits.aspx#/public/silverlight/14553

Hello Vincent,

The Silverlight RadWindow and the default ChildWindow controls are two completely different and separate controls and there are many differences between them that are not easily described in order to isolate the possible reason for this behavior when the attached behaviors are set to the RadWindow.

We are aware of the logged PITS item and we will do our best in researching the possible reasons for this behavior and the possible solutions for it.
