I've been waiting for RadRibbonForm for a while now and saw that it is part of Q3. I can't find any documentation for it yet. I created a form that inherits from RadRibbonForm and all I get is a big grey box, no ribbon, no status bar, nothing. Do I have to add the ribbon bar and status bar to the form or are they part of the RadRibbonForm and I just can't find them? Also, is there an easy way to port something that was designed as a ShapedForm with ribbon and status bar over to RadRibbonBar (I tried just having it inherit RadRibbonForm and the results are weird).

Hello Joel Kraft,

Thank you for this question.

Currently, you can refer to the following Knowledge Base article about adding RadRibbonForm: Adding RadRibbonForm. The template provided for RadRibbonForm which you can use contains a RadRibbonBar, a panel and a RadStatusStrip. For additional information about RadRibbonForm and RadStatusStrip you can refer to this and this helps topics respectively.

Concerning your scenario, if you have a form inheriting from ShapedForm and containing a RadRibbonBar and a RadStatusStrip, you should first this form from RadRibbonBar. Then, you will need to resize the form a little to get its correct initialization.

I hope this helps. If you have additional questions, feel free to contact me.
