RadPivotGrid - Add Caption / Title and show Row Count of Aggregated rows

1. How to add Caption or Title, when user export to excel.
2. Display row count for aggregated rows along with aggregate value.

You could use the Export Infrastructure for this one. Examine the following links:

Using the infrastructure you can handle the InfrastructureExporting event and using the "ShiftRowsDown " method you can move the  page content down and add what caption you need.

As for the second requirement, note that this could not be achieved as only one aggregate can be added for specific field. Therefore we can not add count and sum aggregate at the same time.

I haven't tried adding title to exported file solution suggested by you. However for the count I was able to solve by adding Aggregate field and used its "Count" function as aggregate function for same field which was showing aggregate SUM. This solved my problem.

I will try your suggested method for adding title. But I guess it might have been much easier if it was part of the PivotGrid caption as Property, so that we don't have to do any customization for just adding a Title to exported file:). As we expectation from Telerik is too high from all its users.

I completely understand your concerns and will agree that having Caption property exposed for the RadPivotGrid is much more easier instead of using code to insert such title in the exported file.
