I am having the exact same problem with the menu overlapping the dropdown information. However, I am using the RadControls with Web Forms.

I did try adding "z-index:2000" to the syle property. This style change seems to make no difference.

Suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Tom

Hello,

Try setting bigger value for z-index property to show combo above window.

Check the forum link which discussed similar scenario.

Shinu,

Thank you for your suggestion. However, even changing to a value such as 20000 does not resolve the issue.

It should be noted that the RadMenu is located on the SiteMaster page along with an additional combo box control. The combo box control experiencing the problem is located within the actual page detail. Interestingly the RadMenu displays overtop of the dropdown from the combo box in the form, but the combo box in the SiteMaster page displays properly by not covering the dropdown from the combo.

Hi Tom,

If you are setting z-index, try setting it for both controls, so it is clear which one should be bigger. If this does not help I would suggest that you opened a support ticket and provide a sample project reproducing the issue or a live url.

All the best,

I have previously tried setting both values. I will create a small application isolating the problem and submit that through a trouble-ticket.

Thanks to everyone for your feedback.

I am experiencing a similar issue in SharePoint with the RadMenu. We are allowing SP to pop-up a page as shown in my attached screen-shot. We discovered that the RadMenu is always on top of the pop-up window. I can even click on the menu while the "pop-up" window is visible. I tried variations of Z-index, to no avail.

Hi Jonathan,

Since changing the z-index of both controls (that overlap each other) does not help, only an image is not enough to reproduce the issue. To be able to determine what is the cause we need either a live url or a sample project reproducing the issue. If you could provide either we could try helping you resolve the problem.

Kind regards,
Kate
