There seems to be a problem in the Customization example (http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#Menu/Customization), that I am also experiencing in my code, that I can't seem to figure out.

When the submenu appears, and when your mouse first enters one of the columns (MenuItemTopLevelSectionControlTemplate), the first link you hover over briefly shows the highlight (underline), but then goes away.  You can then hover over any other link, and the highlight remains.  If you then hover over a new column, this behavior starts over.

In the demo, it is not as noticeable, but I am using a much more robust highlight style, where it more obvious.

Is there a flaw in the example?  Is there a bug in the control?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Kevin,

We are not able to reproduce such behavior where the link highlight remains. As I am not really sure that I have correctly understood what you are doing, could you please send us a screenshot or a simple video what exactly you are doing and what is the problem.

All the best,

I have the same issue. When you first hover over a menu item, it underlines the hyperlink text for a split second, then reverts the text back to its normal state. I have a video that demonstrates this issue on the Telerik demo site for menu customization, but I can't seem to attach it here (only gif, jpg, and pngs are allowed, apparently).

Hello,

I was able to reproduce the problem and saw what you mean. This example is highly customized with a lot of custom templates and styles, and this scenario is not supported out of the box. We debugged the problem in order to find a workaround by modifying the templates, but unfortunately it can't be fixed with the current implementation of the control and the way this example is customized.
