RadGuage - Background

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to use the RadGuage control. Currently, I am trying to just change the Background of the gauge. The red/orange colors do not work with my application. How do I replace the default red/orange background with an ImageBrush?

The templates in the documentation found here (http://www.telerik.com/help/wpf/radial-gauge-customizing-appearance.html) do not seem to work. For instance, when I use the templates, the values disappear.

Hi Bill,

You have 2 options here:

1. Use scales without containers. The RadGauge, RadialGauge and LinearGauge controls are just containers which intended to create similar look for number of scales. You can use RadialScale or LinearScale controls without this containers at all. For example:

2. Change template of the RadialGauge control so the container looks different. I’ve checked templates are provided here http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Etelerik%2Ecom/help/wpf/radial-gauge-customizing-appearance.html and they seem to work OK. Here it is full XAML of the Window which change template of the RadialGauge control as it is described in the documentation:
