Hi Guys,

I've come across an issue with the file explorer in IE and was hoping you could let me know if this is a known issue and if there are any workarounds or not.

In IE the height of the explorer is forced down greatly. It looks as if the directory listing items you can't see are forcing the explorer size down.

Image can be seen below.

Thanks.

Hi Elliot,

We are not aware of such problem and you are the first one to report it. However, the provided screenshot is not enough to determine the exact cause of the issue. Could you please provide more detailed information on the specific scenario?
  • Which version of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX and .NET Framework are used in the application?
  • Under which browser and its version the problem occurs?
  • Are you able to reproduce the problem on the live demos? If so, could you please provide the exact steps the need to be executed in order to reproduce the issue?
  • Could you please provide a simple fully runnable project reproducing the problem so we can investigate it further?

On a side note, if you have any custom CSS registered on the page, could you please try to remove it and see if the problem still occurs? It is possible a global selector to overwrite default value of a controls element.

Hi Dobromir,

Thanks for the response. I believe i've managed to find the cause of the issue.

At present we are having to run IE in quirks mode but are in the process of switching to standards. It appears in quirk modes this issue occurs with the editor border expanding to the length of the folder list.

Thanks for the help.
