We are experiencing an issue where, when right clicking on a file in the RadFileExplorer, the file is sometimes deleted immediately. No confirmation dialog is displayed, as is usually the case when deleting files.

It only seems to happen in Safari and seems to happen intermittently. We have reproduced it on both Mac and Windows platforms.

I'm just wondering if this has been reported before or if you have any suggestions.

Any help you can offer will be appreciated.

Thanks

Here is some more information.

Version: Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX (2014.2.724.45)

It seems to happen if the File Explorer dialog is opened and left alone for a few minutes. Then, when we right click on a file, the file is deleted.

Something else that is noteworthy is when it occurs both the left and right panes of the file explorer refresh. After the refresh, the file is gone.

Hi John,

We are not aware of the described behavior and you are the first one to report it. Can you please provide some more details on the specific scenario in which the control is used?
  • Are you able to reproduce the problem with the latest version of the controls or only with 2014.2.724?
  • Are you able to reproduce the issue on our live demos? If so, what are the steps to do it?
  • Are you implementing a custom content provider for the used by you FileExplorer?

It will be really helpful if you isolate the problematic configuration into a runnable project and send it so we can examine it locally.

Looking forward to your reply,
