RadEditor Spell check (text getting repeated)

I am using RadEditor in my application. When clicking on the AJAX spell check option, the text which is there in the editor gets repeated. 

For example: If the editor contents are 

"Telerik test content"

then after clicking on spell check, the contents become

"Telerik test content

Telerik test content"

 I am unable to find what is causing this error.  Any assistance regarding this would be appreciated.

Hi Chitra,

I tried to reproduce the reported issue but to no avail. Can you provide more information regarding the scenario in which the problem occurs?

• Which version of the controls is used in your application?
• In which browser and its version does the problem occur?
• Are you able to replicate the issue in our online demos - Editor - Spell Check? If so, can you take a look over the video from my test and see whether I am leaving anything out - video?

Basically, we are aware of similar issues in the past like discussed here, but they have been already fixed in the Editor. In case you are using an older version of the controls and you are not able to reproduce the problem in our live demos (running with our latest release) I would advice to upgrade to the latest version of the UI for ASP.NET AJAX suite.

 Thanks for the reply.

The Telerik version used in the application is 2013.1.417.45. And I got that error in chrome. Was the replication issue fixed in this version? Should I get the new version for removing the bug ? I need to tell my senior team regarding this, before I make any changes.

Hi Chitra,

I am afraid that I cannot assure you that the problem is not reproducible with the latest version of the controls as I was not able to reproduce it also with the version given in your latest reply (2013.1.417) in chrome so I assume I am missing any of the reproduction steps of the issue. Can you send me the exact Editor configuration you are using along with the steps to reproduce the problem so I can replicate it on my side and see in which version/whether it is fixed? A video demonstrating the problematic behavior also will be very helpful in investigating the case.
